Classroom Activity
Choose a forthcoming sporting event, it could be the Six Nations, a local sports event, the Premier League, etc. Divide the class in groups and each group will create a news report about the event, as if they were a real life reporter on the ground. Remember the 5 Ws when structuring the sports news report. If it’s a local sports event, can the students get an interview with the one of the players or the coach?
